Reay Beavers open evening

Nessie made a surprise appearance at Reay Beavers on Wednesday 23rd November. Well it was a surprise to the invited audience of local worthies, i.e. families of Beavers. The well known play "Nessie rules OK" came to Reay Hall after a sell out tour of Lybster and Thurso. Every Beaver had an important role to play and had extra fancy costumes such as hats made out of brown envelopes. The story, true of course concerns Nessie holidaying in Loch Watten and saving children from a flooding house. This was just one of the brave acts Nessie did. Another was to escape the clutches of little hands in one piece. A few games also took place to demonstrate a typical Beaver meeting. Some of the brothers and sisters joined Beavers to play the games and at the end of the meeting each Beaver was awarded their imagination badge. Now all thats eft to see is how imaginative can it be to see where the badges end up!!!!
