Beavers visit County Camp

/20
We, that is the Beavers may have only spent a few hours at the camp today, Saturday 30th April but we had fab time. Running through parachutes, learning how to travel along a blind trail, eating ice cream and sausages but not together!! We also sang, went on treasure hunt and sat by a huge camp fire. Some of the Beavers had never seen anything like that before and were looking for the plug as to where it was switched on!!!

2nd Thurso Beaver Fun With Dunnet

/16
A fantastic noisy and happy meeting between 2nd Thurso and 1st Dunnet Bay Beavers on 14th June 2011 saw 40 Beavers jumping around. In fact everyone was jumping, even the floor boards of the 2nd Thurso Scout hut were seen to be leaping around. Beavers all enjoyed making traffice light biscuits with yummy go go with no stpos! They also showed how good they are with glue and scissors by cutting crad book markes without any cut fingers but there were a few odd places glue got to! Hoopla and bean bag games tested their accuracy, with some objects bouncing off leaders to score points. Juice and choco biscuits saw a pleasnt peaceful (not) break.
